People and Daily Life
Who lived at my mision was california indians wich thier jobs was farmwork and buildings. Spanisn Priests jobs was to teach religion , spanish language language, farming techniques.and spanish culture. Spanish soldiers protected the missions, peublos, and presidios. The daily life at my mission was at sunrise the bell rang to signal church services were starting. The Natives and cathlic priests attended mass. After church the natives went to work like ( plowing fields, raising livestock, making bricks, olive oil, leather goods, pottery, weaving, and naking wine). While the children went to cathli school to and learned the spanish language. They grew crops such as fruits and grains and owned 12,000 sheep and 5,00 ranches nearby with cattle.
